Your Role
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and have the opportunity to work on next-generation technologies such as automated driving, driver monitoring, and advanced safety systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing solutions that make a positive impact on people's lives. You should have a strong background in Parking Perception Work. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. In your daily job you will:
· Own and ensure high-quality, at-cost, and on-time delivery of Parking Perception Work Products (vision, ultra-sonic) supporting vehicle parking features.
· Monitor Sprint metrics (e.g., Sprint velocity, defect rate etc.) of assigned product to ensure all engineering output delivered to support product releases is high quality, completed efficiently leveraging Global Product best practices.
· Accountable for the development of the product development workplan by estimating time and resources required, and identifying critical paths and inter-dependency among modules.
· Lead Platform Interface for Global Product with Regional Engr., and when required with end customer.
· Define work product prioritization during Big Room Planning and other Product Development Planning events.
· Authorize applicable platform utilizations for customer pursuit opportunities.
· Participate and contribute to product strategy and vehicle architecture meetings with other product lines within Global Product.
· Support technical analysis and approve any product change requests.
· Lead make vs. buy considerations; lead external supplier selection recommendations
· Accountable for organizing, conducting ADP2.x Gate Reviews and follow up of actions thereafter.
· Lead any required First Application of Innovation reviews; manage risk mitigation plans appropriately.
· Support HW Lead, Technical Program Manager in establishing product BOM and Engineering Development costs as input to business cases developed by Product Management.
· Support Regional Engineering Director Reviews [RED] for Business Pursuits.
· Ensure proper alignment with manufacturing during New Product Development.
· Support customer problem troubleshooting and drive corrective action for issues within platform.
· Ensure proper technology hand-over to customer teams at appropriate milestones.
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
· Minimum of 5 years with experience in Vision based perception Systems.
· Minimum of 3 years with experience in Parking applications either at the Perception Level or Vehicle Feature Level.
· Experience in Ultra Sonic Sensors and/or Radar preferred.
· Ability to drive full ownership of delivery.
