TECHNICAL MANAGER FOR THE RAS LAFFAN NPCT PROJECT

Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a TECHNICAL MANAGER FOR THE RAS LAFFAN NPCT PROJECT (f/m) to join our Qatar Ras Laffan NPCT (New Port Control Tower) Project based in Elancourt, France.

You will be part of a team developing Qatar Ras Laffan NPCT (New Port Control Tower) Project. As part of the team, you will be involved in STYRIS® is an AIRBUS product line for collection, processing, consolidation, enrichment, distribution and display of data deriving from a wide range of maritime sensors such as radars, automatic identification system, radar direction finder, cameras, weather stations and sonars.

Your challenges:

- Responsible for delivering the maritime system based on Styris OTOCOQ

o Define the scope in a clear and unambiguous way and manage the changes (clear change requests, proper change proposal with impact analysis)

o Structure the engineering work

o Plan the engineering work o Define and monitor the engineering risks and opportunities

o Monitor and control the engineering progress (time, cost and quality)

o Ensure that the commitments made during the bids are planned

- Responsible for the engineering reviews

o Carries out system studies and designs and organize the appropriate design reviews before launching any development (CDR)

o Structure the IVV work (Integration, Verification and Validation) in Elancourt and organize the appropriate test review (FAT)

o Structure the IVV work on site and organize the appropriate test review on site (SAT)

- Responsible for leading the engineering teams

Your profile:

- Master or diploma in computer science or a comparable field of study

- 15+ of professional experience

- 5+ years of successful as technical lead, team management and customer relationship Competencies

- Good written and verbal communication

- Learn fast, curious and structured

- Team spirit

- Knowledge in system, network, Linux, electronics (radars, VoIP, camera, VHF), security of information system and general computer knowledge

- Proficient in English

- Desirable: Agile experience
