Your role:
-
In global radar product development, you will work on innovative mechatronic driver assistance systems for autonomous driving vehicles and support all product development tasks with your broad technical knowledge

You will work closely with the Engineering Project Leader for Radar Re-Simulation
-
For our customers and our global platform, you analyze, evaluate and define the future “hardware-in-the-loop” & “software-in-the-loop” systems and architectures for radars
-
You develop ideas for the optimal implementation of the simulation environments, which you present to the Engineering Project Leader and our customers
-
You define, develop and commission hardware-in-the-loop & software-in-the-loop test benches
-
You develop and implement data logging concepts at system and vehicle level
-
You support the development of radar sensor simulation
-
You will independently carry out test and calibration activities at component and system level
-
You define the technical solutions you develop as requirements and coordinate them with our internal experts

You will also support our customers in setting up their test benches
-
In all tasks, you will work in a creative, multinational and interdisciplinary environment
Your background:
-
You have successfully completed a university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, physics or similar
-
In addition, you have gained initial experience in the development of electrical control units, in system development and/or simulation and ideally have 2 years of experience in the automotive industry

You have good knowledge in the field of driver assistance systems, especially radar technology
-
You have in-depth knowledge of vehicle bus systems (e.g. Ethernet, FlexRay and CAN bus) and experience in using the corresponding development tools from Vector
-
You have knowledge in the field of simulation and virtual validation as well as experience in working with the simulation environment of dSPACE or IPG
-
You are adept at using your good knowledge of requirements management with the Polarion requirements management software
-
You organize your tasks in the projects with the help of the Jira tool
-
Ideally, you will have knowledge of the programming languages C/C++ and/or Python
-
Knowledge of the MathWorks tool Matlab would be desirable

You are fluent in German and English and are willing to travel and have a valid class B driver's license
