WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The Standstill Management Chapter is responsible to deploy the overall JLR standstill management strategy to hold and secure the vehicle. We are looking for an End-to-End System Architect who will be responsible for the coordination of architecture, interfaces and requirements activities which include overlooking all system interactions when coming to and exiting standstill, for true modern luxury experiences.

 

The System Architect will be working with stakeholders across all areas of product engineering and within the Brakes engineering department to engineer, integrate, validate and sign off software and hardware using best practices.

 

Working within the product development global team, you will contribute to our award-winning products and play a key role in reimagining the future of modern luxury and the future of mobility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Generation and curation of Standstill Management System requirements.
  • Creation of Standstill Management System artifacts in line with Systems Engineering disciplines.
  • Ensure continuous improvement through effective lessons learned, knowledge capture and process development.
  • Work closely with System architecture team, Foundation Brakes team, Actuation/Modulation SW team, Powertrain team, CSI / Motion Domain.
  • Contribute towards the data management strategy with the data analytics team to help create the future analysis capabilities.
  • Validation and verification support for Standstill Management System and the integration into the vehicle.
  • Drive internal and external stakeholders to achieve program delivery and issue resolutions on programme and Quality/TGW.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Experience of Brakes Engineering or of a complex mechatronic system. 
  • Experience of Key System Engineering Principles and Frameworks.
  • Experience of TRM for requirement implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
