About our Student Workers at Volvo Car Austria
We are constantly looking for students who want to gain in-depth work experience during their studies. Volvo Car Austria GmbH has been acting as an importer for Volvo cars in Austria since 1997 and works closely with our Austria-wide dealer network. Our activities range from the import of vehicles including the necessary logistics, pricing, sales promotion programs, marketing of the vehicles, the holistic support of our customers during their Volvo experience to the implementation of digital transformation in our offer and structures.
Our team consists of around 35 employees, whereby diversity and its various facets are not only advertised, but lives in our organization. Located next to the University of Economics in the second district of Vienna, we not only offer an attractive work location directly on the Prater and perfectly accessible by public transport, but also a highly modern and friendly office (as well barrier-free).
About this area
There are many different areas in which student workers can be deployed. We have a changing need in nearly all business functions of the company.
Currently we are explicitly looking for the following:
Student worker to support the Finance and Business & Retail Development function (20 hours per week)
The main tasks in the Finance area are:
• Support finance in calculating revenue management opportunities
• Analysing whether sales activities have been successful
• Follow-up of various sales business areas
The main tasks in the Business & Retail Development area are:
• Support in managing and maintaining the THRIVE training platform, including user management, monitoring and reporting
• Analysis and evaluation of user data to improve platform usage and training content
• Point of contact for user inquiries and technical support related to the THRIVE training platform
• Creation of the monthly segment share report
• Assistance in the implementation and execution of Volvo standards
• Support in organizing and coordinating events and training sessions
• Coordinate data input of our Volvo partners to the Facility Environmental & Sustainability Tool (FEST)
• Creation and analysis of reports for both internal and external stakeholders
• Support various interesting projects in the area of Business & Retail Development

What do we offer our Student Workers/Interns?
You will get:

• Standard employment of minimum 12 months for student workers
• Weekly working hours of roughly 20 hours with a flexible approach towards the agreement of your daily working time. Additionally home office opportunity for roughly 40% of your time. Flexible working from abroad also possible.
• Fair payment based on the collective agreement trade (2.195,-€ monthly gross on a full-time level, pro rata calculation based on the individually agreed working hours)

To be considered for a position as student worker, you should bring the following:
You are currently studying in the field of economics (or similar) and you have finalized at least the first two semesters of your studies. You are curious about our brand and the automotive industry. You are willing to discover new things and able to handle change. You bring an open mindset and strong communication skills. You are structured and always willing to have a 360 degrees view on things. You bring a strong knowledge in MS Office products, especially in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point and MS Power BI (if possible). Additional software skills are of course welcomed. You are fluent in English and German.
