The Role
We're seeking an innovative HRIS expert to lead the strategy, design, configuration, reporting, and administration of Solera HRIS programs and system of record for employee data; Workday. This is a key role for the company as we work to manage our greatest asset: our people

What You’ll Do

Lead configuration and maintaining HRIS:

  • Lead configurations and maintenance of the Workday system
  • Develops proficiency in all components of the system including set up of users, management of foundation objects, configuration of workflows, and assisting with/trouble-shooting data integration.
  • Designs and maintains system processes, procedures and support documentation based on lessons learned, continuous improvement and periodic/semi-annual releases.

Internal Stakeholders and Customer Service:

  • Partners with HR leadership on overall strategy for data management of the company
  • Defines business requirements of end users as needed on project implementations and on-going module support
  • Provides functional guidance and knowledge in architecting a best practice solution to fit business needs
  • Identifies areas for process improvement and business opportunities to standardize a holistic solution
  • Recommends and implements system administration policies, including managing the end-user experience and ensuring training is provided to internal and external customers

Communications, Report Creation, and Metrics:

  • Designs and generates ad hoc and recurring reports for internal and external clients
  • Creates a set of business intelligence information derived from the system to drive decision-making
  • Coordinates with vendor to oversee continuous improvement efforts and system upgrades
  • Works with third-party support services to create tickets, trouble-shoot issues and manage to resolution
  • Sets-up and manages data integrity and auditing procedures within the HRIS system
  • Defines/implements innovative workaround processes when appropriate

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or closely related field
  • 5-7 years of HRIS administration or configuration within Workday
  • An innate passion for learning, growing, and advancing your skills to keep pace with the growth of our business
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, vlookups, pivot tables), Microsoft Word (mail merge) and cloud-based HR applications
  • Must have a sense of urgency when appropriate and ability to manage a fluctuating schedule based on business needs and demands
  • Must be process oriented, seeking repeatable/sustainable solutions to value-added challenges in the system.
  • Proven ability to work creatively, innovatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Ability to act consultatively on projects including understanding the business needs, gathering/interpreting business requirements with a variety of stakeholders across HR, IT, and the business
  • Must have proven organizational, time management skills, ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities
