This role sits within Aptiv’s new product organization, which will be at the forefront of transforming the auto industry with cutting-edge technology.  

Your Role:

  • Ensure flawless execution of interior sensing software supplier management, on all projects executed in Global Product Organisation

  • Support of supplier acquisition / evaluation process including market research

  • Identify and develop strategic supplier partnerships for specific technological areas/domains

  • Assist with booking through support of quoting Start Center activities

  • Work with Buyer, Software Licenses & Royalties, Supply Chain Management to update project NRE/Royalties spreadsheet

  • Help maintain the ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) required rating for ACQ.4 Supplier Monitoring across all projects

  • Drive corrective action of any ACQ.4 Supplier Monitoring audit failures

  • Optimize cost structure for SW Suppliers

  • Create / maintenance and execute supplier delivery plan

  • Analyze and create requirements for suppliers (functional and quality)

  • Leading regular project status meetings with suppliers

  • Testing supplier releases (on system level) and approving them

  • Conducting technical meetings with suppliers independently

  • Presenting supplier status to interested parties within Aptiv

  • Co-operate with other regions in the suppliers management area

  • Care for good company image

  • Permanent and regular developing of professional qualifications

  • Care for confidential information and company’s property

  • On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the valid quality system valid for Aptiv corporation and GPO

Your Background 

  • Experience with software development

  • Experience with maintaining and creating requirements

  • Experience with project management tasks including planning activities

  • MSc degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related.

  • Ability to speak, read and write English.

  • Basic C++ programming skills and basic experience with C++ language

  • Basic knowledge of programming for embedded systems

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Agile framework an ASPICE processes is nice to have
