Our client is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Specialist in Logistics, you will be responsible for providing logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, fast-paced, and strong safety awareness which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Ankeny, IA
Pay Range: $18/HR
Shift: Monday-Wednesday : 6am-3pm, Thursday: 6am-6pm, Friday : 6am-3pm, Saturday 6am-11am
What’s the Job?
- Staging and palletizing for outgoing shipments of products.
- Maintain customer profiles and enter load details into the Freight Optimizer system.
- Inform account managers of problem loads and actions taken; update receivers and customers on load status.
- Monitor pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring timely and good-condition arrivals.
- Take check calls from drivers, validate load data for accounting, and confirm on-time deliveries.
- Investigate and document product discrepancies.
- Schedule/reschedule delivery appointments and manage load acceptance based on account manager directions.
- Provide drivers with detailed routing instructions.
What’s Needed?
- Highschool Diploma or GED REQUIRED
- 1 Year in experienced logistics and transportation industry
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
