As a Senior Software Test Engineer at our Krakow Tech Hub, you will be a part of an agile team, working closely with software engineers, testers and architects. We have positions open in different projects related to our upcoming fully electric cars - you might be a fit for Software & Electronic Platform, Connected Experience or Safe Vehicle Automation teams.

We are looking for experienced Software Test Engineers with mid to senior level into a software development team, with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with testing on Hardware
  • OS structure: IPC, scheduling, processes, memory layout, etc.
  • Experience with Linux userspace and RTOS
  • Knowledge of Python – basic level
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Zuul)
  • Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, CAN, SOME/IP, XCP, UDS, DLT)
  • Experience in automotive, aviation, medical or other highly regulated enterprise concerned Functional Safety
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to proactively analyze problems
  • Attention to details.

Good to have:Good to have:

  • Knowledge of C++ in embedded – average level
  • Experience with Robot Framework and dSpace
  • Experience with ASPICE, ISO26262.
  • SW testing: debugging, fault injection
  • Toolchain: CMake, GDB, Objectdump, Wireshark
  • Experience with CANoe
  • QNX (tracelogger, Momentics IDE for analysis)

Your responsibilities will include:Your responsibilities will include:

  • Software requirements analysis, communication
  • Software integration test and qualification test
  • Test strategy, test plan creation/improvement
  • Remote HIL test environment: learn, setup (main part is done by an onsite team), improve, maintain (troubleshooting when not working)
  • Test harness preparation
  • Test case design, execution (manual), troubleshooting, automation, inclusion into CI
  • Fault report handling, clarification, troubleshooting, root cause analysis from architecture to code level, fix proposal, timely reporting
  • Instructions creation/update for the above topics
  • Creating documentation according to ASPICE, ISO26262
  • Support higher-level testing by other teams
  • Collaboration with the customer and teammates.
