Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Analyst (Contracts & Risk Management Advisor) to join our team located in Huntsville, Al.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports Procurement Agents with modifications to terms and conditions.

  • Leads/Supports terms and conditions negotiations with suppliers.

  • Communicates to the Supply Chain leadership negotiation strategies.

  • Supports General Terms Agreements (GTA’s) on behalf of the Program, Business Unit or the Enterprise.

  • Assesses and communicates contractual risk to Supply Chain.

  • Develops strategy with cross functional stakeholders to minimize contractual risk within Boeing terms and conditions.

  • Leads training and development around terms and conditions.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Shift Work:

This position is for 1st shift.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.

  • 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex legal contract terms and conditions and business terms (excluding pricing and delivery).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Juris Doctorate Degree

  • 5+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).

  • 5+ years of experience of being responsible for deliverables to both internal and external customers.

  • 5+ years of experience with contractual risk management terms.

  • 5+ years of experience in performing risk assessments and risk management.

  • 5+ years of experience do you have in teaching, coaching and developing others.

Typical Education/Experience:

Level (4):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level (5):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 20% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

Level (4): $93,500 - $115,500

Level (5): $119,000 - $147,000
