Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret technical data, designs, and preliminary specifications to guide project development.
  • Gather and communicate scientific and technical information with team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering, technical, and manufacturing personnel to ensure project alignment.
  • Consult with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Develop detailed prototype and fabrication plans, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
  • Review and verify engineering documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Apply and adhere to manufacturing methods and techniques for quality assurance.
  • Inspect and evaluate manufactured products to maintain high standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and related documentation for project tracking.

What you need for this position:

  • Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for design and drafting.
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
  • Expertise in drafting and mechanical drawing techniques.
  • Familiarity with USDA standards and food processing manufacturing protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for project specifications gathering and installation.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with various departments.
