Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret technical data, designs, and preliminary specifications to guide project development.
- Gather and communicate scientific and technical information with team members and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, technical, and manufacturing personnel to ensure project alignment.
- Consult with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Develop detailed prototype and fabrication plans, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
- Review and verify engineering documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Apply and adhere to manufacturing methods and techniques for quality assurance.
- Inspect and evaluate manufactured products to maintain high standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and related documentation for project tracking.
What you need for this position:
- Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for design and drafting.
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
- Expertise in drafting and mechanical drawing techniques.
- Familiarity with USDA standards and food processing manufacturing protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel occasionally for project specifications gathering and installation.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with various departments.
