The Corporate Cybersecurity team’s responsibility is to guide, advise and protect Volvo Cars' and its customers by designing and embedding security in everything we do. Our security teams consist of experts in all areas of cybersecurity – cyber security defense center 24/7 operation and cyber defense products.

You will reside within the product organization of the Cyber Defense Center (CDC). The product organization is made up of Product Engineering and Product Management. Both functions work closely together with the end goal of protecting Volvo Cars by maintaining, improving and developing cyber defense products.
What you'll do
Role Description:

Join a global team developing and maintaining Endpoint Vulnerability Management solutions to help Volvo Cars identify and address device vulnerabilities.

You’ll guide technology choices across Volvo’s digital landscape, optimizing monitoring, identification, and remediation.

Using Qualys, the team collaborates on data solutions and targeted communication in an agile environment, ensuring solutions meet company and stakeholder needs.

You are passionate about vulnerability management and have extensive knowledge/experience of how technology (Qualys, MS Defender e.g.) works, operates and is maintained in an enterprise context to reach optimal results. Expert Knowledge of Endpoint Monitoring Technology: In-depth experience with endpoint monitoring tools (such as Qualys and Defender), understanding how they operate, are maintained, and can be optimized within an enterprise environment like Volvo Cars to deliver the best results.
Comprehensive Understanding of Modern Digital Ecosystems and how endpoint monitoring fits into a modern digital ecosystem
Technical Expertise for Endpoint Product Management: You represent the technical knowledge available to Endpoint Product Management, helping translate the organization’s needs into achievable goals with engineering support.
Collaboration with Product Management: You work closely with Product Management to develop new or updated product concepts.
Leadership and Mentorship: As a technical leader within the team, you’ll help set the ways of working, guide and support more junior team members.
Expertise in Vulnerability Remediation: You understand the challenges and opportunities in vulnerability remediation within an enterprise organization and can deploy services that assist in these efforts.
Both external and internal Stakeholder management: engaging with tech suppliers as well as internal stakeholders across teams.
Communication and Relationship Building: You can communicate complex technical concepts to management and help them understand how technology can be utilized to meet business objectives.
