Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Revenue & Profit Analysis Manager is responsible for revenue management and financial consolidation of JLR North America by House of Brands (Range Rover, Defender, Discovery & Jaguar). This role leads a team of finance professionals covering profit/loss reporting, financial planning & analysis, budgeting & forecasting, management reporting, and financial modeling. Key duties include month-end close & reporting, variance analysis, gross revenue planning, project lead on profit optimization activities, transfer price setting, foreign exchange reporting, in addition to cash forecasting.

 

This role interacts with several areas of the business. Primary business partners include but are not limited to the following: Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Sales, and House of Brands. 

 

What you will be doing:

 

The core function of this team breaks out into the following areas in which this role will provide management oversight:

 

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

    • Lead preparation and creation of annual Budget, quarterly forecast updates, and monthly Profit Loss reporting for Jaguar Land Rover North America inclusive of all lines of business (New & Used Vehicles, Parts, and Accessories)

    • Present financial reporting to leadership and provide insight/recommendations to improve financial performance and mitigate risks based on predictive modeling.

    • Manage the preparation and distribution of House of Brands reporting inclusive of vehicle margins, fixed costs, and brand allocations.

    • Develop Market Review presentations as requested by senior management

    • Laise with JLR UK on all U.S. financial reporting inputs and requirements

    • Create/update reporting processes and procedures; identify opportunities to improve efficiency of planning and actual reporting decisions 

 

  • Revenue Management   

    • Liaise with the Pricing Team to forecast new vehicle revenue for Jaguar Land Rover US inclusive of approved base pricing, customer take on optional equipment, dealer margin, floor plan and other revenue items

    • Review and approve vehicle Transfer Prices

    • Cash forecasting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

    • Adhoc requests/Special projects as needed

  • Perform other duites as required.

 

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

  • 7+ years of related financial analysis experience, including supervisory experience within that period

  • Previous experience in Finance/Accounting with an understanding of corporate budgeting, including planning, monitoring, controlling  

  • Automotive experience a plus

  • Previous supervisory experience is required

  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills; must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - proven ability to interface effectively and influence senior levels of the organization

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills – PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables;

  • Must have strong business acumen and judgment, with the confidence to contribute effectively when operating at the highest level within JLR;

 

 

 

 

Schedule:  Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

 Travel:  Up to 5% 

 

 

Recruitment Salary Range:  $107,500 - $150,000

 

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
