Quality Claims Analyst

The Quality Claims Analyst is an expert in customer quality claims and responsible for both technical and financial aspects. In this regard the role has both quality as well as finance related tasks. The Quality Claims Analyst is following up on incoming quality claims, communicate with customer and quality engineers as needed to collect supporting details and compare with the test analysis. They will actively drive actions to reduce the number and amount of customer claims.

General Responsibilities
• Communicate with customer and work on completing data on customers debit notes to ensure all information was obtained
• Work with customer to improve the quality of customer claims documentation
• Collect root cause data and perform necessary analyses
• Work with quality engineers directly when required
• Assist with properly distributing quality claims with the proper quality verification experts
• Provide financial analysis as needed
• Provide quality claims data analysis, ad-hock analysis, trends analysis, cycle time analysis
• Enter Debit/Credit Notes Requests into Sensata SharePoint for approved chargebacks
• Participate in escalation meetings
• Support integrations of new companies
• Assist with development and implementation of metrics around chargebacks
• Work on standardization of the process and global alignment
• Work on developing escalation process based on reason codes
• Support other back office projects

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
