We are currently looking for a Specialist 1 TCS to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. Coordinates the development of service and owner's information for Nissan and Infiniti vehicles for both North American and Export Markets. This includes the initial output of service manuals and owner’s manuals, quick reference guides, warranty books, lemon law books, electronic quick reference guides, first responder’s guides, body builder’s guide, roadside assistance guide, dismantlers guide, and subsequent releases of current and prior model year vehicles publications. Manage inventory and logistics of printed publications. Contributes to building brand value and achieving profitable growth.

A Day in the Life:   
• Continuously explore and implement process improvements for both internal and external programs, which will drive efficiency gains for all parties involved.

• Manage the progress of multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to project timing changes as required. This includes proactively investigating potential roadblocks and ensuring projects meet all required deadlines. Alert management team of issues that affect scope, budget and timing.

• Ability to lead supplier staff and manage supplier activities.

• Researches and confirms any design revisions, updates, vehicle specification and implementation changes with Engineering, suppliers, Japan, and Manufacturing Plant Staff, other affiliates to support the development of service and owner's publications, and flat rate study operations.

Who We’re Looking for:      
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Consider equivalent related college or technical courses, work experience, or seminars and in-house classroom training.

• Two or more years of related project management experience level.

• General understanding of automotive technology and systems. Be able assist in creating owner’s and technical information/instructions. The instructions/information needs to be understandable by all levels of service technicians and vehicle owners.
• Ability to perform work onsite at Farmington Hills, MI.

• Approximately 10% day and overnight foreign and domestic travel. Work requires physical presence at supplier locations, in the office and manufacturing plants as required. Ability to work in manufacturing or plant environment including outside and in varying weather conditions.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
