Position Overview

This is an opportunity to join the Autodesk Education team and support our Named Account program, reporting to the Senior Manager, Named Accounts, AEX (Autodesk Education Experiences). As the Project and Event Coordinator, you will support account engagement activities ranging from managing time-bound projects to coordinating logistics for all phases of customer-related events.

We are looking for someone to the join the team who is highly accountable and resourceful to help us support our most strategic and important customers. This role requires that you are adaptable and able to find novel solutions to common challenges.

This is a hybrid role with a combination of remote and onsite work. There will be occasional travel. Location preference would be in either Boston, MA or San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Event Planning and Coordination: You will plan, organize and coordinate events and programs that aim to engage customers. This includes determining event logistics, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, and ensuring the smooth execution of the event on the day itself.
  • Project Management: You will oversee execution of projects from conception to completion. This includes setting timelines, coordinating with team members, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: You will act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will work directly with customers, team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is aligned and informed about the project or event.
  • Budget Management: You will help manage budgets for projects and events. This includes estimating costs, setting budgets, tracking expenditures, and making necessary adjustments to stay within budget.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: You will track the success of efforts. This includes collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and making recommendations for future improvements based on findings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have 3+ years of project management, business analyst, management consulting, sales/business development or similar experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experienced in event planning and coordination, including being resourceful and creative to handle unexpected challenges
  • Experienced in communicating directly with internal partners and customers
  • Experience being a "connector" across teams and managing projects against timelines through to completion
  • Experience analyzing business issues, prioritizing for maximum impact against our goals

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $64,000 and $110,440. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
