WHAT TO EXPECT
JLR are currently looking for an experienced Project/Control Engineer to join their highly coveted Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team. As a Project Engineer in our SVO bespoke and premium pallet paint shop, working within the technical operations team, you will be a key player in driving continuous improvement and innovation within our maintenance processes. You will work on projects aimed at optimizing equipment reliability, safety, and overall efficiency.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Lead and execute maintenance related projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines and oversee project execution and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Evaluate equipment and processes, recommending and implementing enhancements.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and report on status & foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Experience with Siemens S7 and TIA portal.
- Programming experience with either Rockwell or Allen Bradley.
- Hold a relevant Electrical or Mechanical based engineering qualification.
- Experience in modification of Programme Logic control and hold 17th or 18th Edition Electrical.
- Previous experience in a similar role in maintenance operation or manufacturing engineering.
