The Opportunity

The PCDS (Product Creation Development System) team is responsible for supporting cross functional areas in the execution and delivery of vehicles and unit programmes in adherence to PCDS. The process applies from KO (Kick Off) to FSR (Final Status Review) . 

In this role you’ll play a key part in providing support to the users of the Dassault Toolset so that the PCDS readiness deliverables and any associated issues can be resolved in a timely and effective manner. The current BAU (Business as Usual) support is based around Enovia 2014 but it is envisaged by June 2024 this will move to Enovia 2024 version. You will be expected to be the face of the PCDS team at daily meetings and report regularly on the resolution of issues. Learning from Enovia 2014 will be taken into the support model for Enovia 2024 and you will have the opportunity to shape the BAU proposals. 

You will be fully supported in this role by the Process Manager and the full resources of the PCDS Team.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT: 



Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the operational activities required by the PCDS process, including:All administration actions including day to day updates, weekly process tasks and daily enquiries from users.
  • Assist in setting up new programmes in line with cycle plan
  • Setting up users in Enovia 2014 and 2024 as new programmes come on board
  • Supporting wider PCDS team in ongoing improvements to process based on feedback and related process improvements from the queries received
  • Closing down archived programmes 
  • Creation of metrics to support programme requirements
  • Housekeeping and data cleansing, as required, to ensure the integrity of processes
  • Continuous improvement of the ticketing system
  • Highlighting areas for future development to reduce manual activities
  • Ownership of JLR WAY documents detailing the process
  • Assist in testing Enovia 2024

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential:

  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • An understanding of BAU PCDS clinics and issue resolution
  • Proven ability to work within collaborative teams to deliver process and people related objectives
  • PC literate to include Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Sharepoint, Project and Visio experience desirable
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, be capable of and display a desire for continuous self / team improvement and development
  • A customer first mindset; easy to do business with and dependable.
  • Results driven; showing tenacity, drive, and perseverance. 
  • Enthusiastic and responds constructively to innovative ideas and inputs.
