Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Production Project Engineer to join the F-15 Production team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

The selected candidate will lead a variety of critical production improvement projects necessary for achieving F-15 production objectives.  The role will interface across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure both successful project execution and integration into the production system.  The candidate will serve as the liaison between the F-15 senior leadership team and project contributors.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads production improvement projects through inception, execution, implementation, and verification

  • Coordinates across functions including, but not limited to, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure projects are executed to plan

  • Identifies and maintains day-to-day oversight of cost, schedule, and performance metrics and reporting to leadership

  • Manages and ensures handoffs and deliverables occur on time

  • Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of each project

  • Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity

  • Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned

  • Provides technical, business and integration for the development and execution of the project

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Lead and Senior Level Production Project Engineers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  • 5+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers

  • 1+ years of experience in project or program management

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in a production environment

  • Project Management Education or Certification

  • Experience supporting F-15 or other fixed wing aircraft program

Typical Education/Experience: 

Lead (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior (Level 5): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Summary pay range for Senior Level 4: $114,750-$155,250

Summary pay range for Lead Level 5: $140,250-$189,750
