Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement Volvo's lean logistics philosophy, continuously optimizing internal team processes to support lean logistics goals.
  • Lead the team to achieve departments’ and plants’ targets in accordance with Volvo Manufacturing System guidelines.
  • Manage business operations related to new model launches, annual model year change projects, the development and control of production plans, ensuring delivery according to relevant metrics.
  • Oversee operations related to production planning and control, ensuring delivery in line with key performance indicators.
  • Manage inventory counts and related operational processes, driving continuous improvements in department workflows.
  • Oversee production launch-related activities, ensuring proper planning of launch resources and timely delivery of department objectives during production launches.
  • Manage and develop department members, ensuring they maintain the skills required for their roles.

Duties:

  • Develop and issue relevant process performance reports for employees.
  • Team operations and personnel planning, ensuring departmental resources
  • Within the scope of business responsibility, oversee and track the progress of project-related tasks.
  • Ensure seamless internal and external business integration for the team and department.
  • Maintain communication and contact with counterparts responsible for various functions in other factories.
  • Develop and implement work processes within the team’s domain, ensuring that team members maintain the necessary skills for their tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • 10–12 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in lean logistics principles and management skills
  • Strong sense of ownership, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and challenges
  • Experience in logistics project launches
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a collaborative mindset
