Program Quality Manager

Job DescriptionWork Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office four times per week or other frequency dictated by the business and once a week remote.

Your Role:

As the Program Quality Manager, you will be responsible for specifying requirements, execution and evaluation of designs, analysis, development, testing and control of major engineering projects where your creativity and initiative are involved as well as a high level of independent judgment. The Program Quality Manager exercises technical direction over other engineers or engineering support personnel as it relates to product Quality.

This position supports a Chief Engineer and Program Manager to assure segment leadership in J.D. Power / Warranty IPTV and Cost reduction initiatives. Responsible for developing, testing, and crafting quality solutions for medium level changes. Defect analysis resolution and verification for vehicle quality.

Central focus to the organization regarding quality for defined program across the entire development process, through manufacturing, and into the field.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform early issue identification, tracking and resolution to ensure segment leadership.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to Quality management relative to quality issues.
  • Lead launch and current product problem solving activities.
  • Deploy quality deliverables according to planned development timing.
  • Work with the product team to identify and gather critical status updates for Quality reviews.
  • Facilitate Quality Review meetings and integrity of presentation materials.
  • Support Program Execution Team (PET) with quality analysis information.
  • Help Facilitate Program team Pre-PIT / CPIT meetings.
  • Provide detailed analysis on every issue to champions for resolution and aggressively approach issues including warranty claims / CTF / CVEP / DTC / TAC / JDP / etc.
  • Analyze, project and track warranty and Customer survey information.
  • Support the development of the global quality planning process and templates.
  • Support Quality Deep Dives / Sector Reviews / Quality Councils.
  • Complete retrofit requests and support special quality studies.
  • Create and champion relationships across multiple functions and regions

    • Bachelor Degree of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, and Automotive)
