OTC Team Leader

Aptiv EMEA as an OTC Team Leader  and oversee a specialized team focused on price and order processing within the Order-to-Cash department. Your primary responsibilities will include optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with SOX controls, and driving results according to key metrics and goals. Reporting to the OTC Manager and collaborating with peers, you will play a crucial role in standardizing processes, managing change initiatives, and enhancing team efficiency.

Your Role

  • Oversee the Aptiv EMEA OTC Team, specializing in price and order processing, focusing on process optimization and achieving departmental goals.
  • Verify the quality of processes performed by the OTC team in line with SOX controls; define internal controls to ensure high service quality.
  • Motivate and coach team members, addressing daily tasks and encouraging professional growth.
  • Plan and organize team workload effectively, ensuring appropriate task assignment and backup structure implementation.
  • Ensure comprehensive SOP structure, knowledge flow, and training plans for team members.
  • Focus on employee development and career progression; conduct annual assessments and systematic goal reviews.
  • Establish and conduct regular team meetings.
  • Verify that team processes meet designated SLA/KPI targets and global GBS goals.
  • Standardize and manage change initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure all processes are documented in SOPs and are up to date with Aptiv's business processes.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements related to OTC processes.
  • Manage relationships with internal customers and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in recruiting new team members.
  • Execute additional supervisory duties as required.

Your Background

  • Professional experience in Finance/OtC field in a GBS/Shared Service environment (5+ years)
  • Experience in people management (1+ year)
  • Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Economy
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of OTC processes
  • Ability to build relationships with business stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to delegate tasks
  • Strategic thinking, proactivity, and decision-making ability
  • Communicative Business level English
  • SAP Finance knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
