Next Finance Jr Manager

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Junior Manager in Finance (G&A, FP&A, Aftersales, Sales-Finance and other related) or Accounting with a proven track record of leadership and expertise in financial systems, data management, and driving impactful financial initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive experience to shape the overall financial strategy, enhance organizational performance, and provide guidance to the finance team. The ideal candidate possesses a comprehensive understanding of finance and accounting principles, exemplary technical skills, and a track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
 

 Job Responsibilities

  • Financial Systems Management Lead the oversight, operation, and enhancement of financial systems (e.g., ERP, financial planning tools). Resolve complex data or system issues, spearhead improvements, and guarantee robust financial operations.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial data. Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide key stakeholders with accurate and timely financial information. Develop and implement standardized financial metrics and KPIs.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes, optimizing data workflows, and enhancing system functionalities. Collaborate and lead with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.

  • Financial Planning and Forecasting: Contribute to the financial planning and forecasting processes by providing data-driven insights and analysis. Collaborate with finance and accounting team members to develop accurate and realistic financial models, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, reconciliations, and explanations of financial data and processes.

  • Supervise and mentor direct reports so that they reach their maximum potential and successfully fulfill their job responsibilities.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate and cultivate strong relationships with finance team members and stakeholders from other departments to support financial initiatives, projects, and ad-hoc analyses. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and training to related team members.

  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously enhance knowledge and skills in finance, accounting, systems, and data management. Stay informed about emerging technologies, best practices, and regulatory changes that impact financial systems and data analysis.

Education
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Finance) is a plus.

Years of Experience:
Solid experience in finance (must-cost centers) or accounting roles (must-chart of accounts and ledger code), with emphasis on systems and data management.

Language: Fluent/Advanced in English is a must.
Able to understand and speak in Portuguese is a plus.

Computer skills:
In-depth knowledge of financial systems, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP (must), Oracle), financial planning and analysis tools (e.g., Hyperion, TAGETIK and HFM), and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau (must), Power BI).

Strong proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools, including Excel, SQL, and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python).

Specific Course/Certifications
Professional certifications are a plus.
