Airbus is looking for a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Deployment Leader to join a forward thinking MBSE team with whom you will help to develop a common understanding and framework for architecting and developing our products (aircraft). You will support innovative concepts to capture customer needs, specify and define architecture from the early stages to 3D and assess architecture in a more systematic way with operability, safety, security and performance in mind.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

  • Define and validate the MBSE strategy at group level in close collaboration with EPIC Owners in Agile, Engineering Centre of Competencies and Methods and Tools teams according to program needs and strategic improvement plans

  • Definition and maintenance of harmonised MBSE and Architecture framework (supporting out of cycle and in cycle development phase) in close collaboration with all streams and in coherence with programs and demonstrator roadmaps

  • Management of methodologies and referential as a specific asset ensuring that all the key contributing functions (Engineering, Manufacturing and Service) are engaged and providing required support

  • Support to IS / IT teams on MBSE integrated tool frameworks including functional and physical 3D capabilities

  • Operation and architecture modelling and simulation of products and industrial systems and services toward reference definition to enable our trade off capabilities

  • Promotion and support of the extended use of state-of-the art MBSE methodologies on legacy and emerging Programs and monitoring the deployment within domains.

  • Responsible for the MBSE methodology development, and will lead Mission Operation Function Logical Technical (MOFLT) PMT development acting as team Product Owner. You will maintain development roadmaps, Validation and Verification Plans, Test procedures and will deliver Methods, Handbooks, Tool specifications and Training. 

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven Systems Engineering experience

  • Proven experience with MBSE, Modelling & Simulation experience (including technics, standards as SysML & UAF and tools as CAMEO & 3DEx)
