Mechanical Development Engineer - Analyst (d/f/m)
As a highly skilled and motivated team player you will take over responsibility in the domain of Mechanical Systems, Products and Analyses. In your role as " Mechanical Development Engineer (Analyst)" you will actively contribute to Airbus' exciting human spaceflight and space exploration programmes.

Your tasks
-
Static and dynamic structural analyses
-
FEM pre-processing and modelling, analyses and post-processing (e.g. in Hyperworks, Nastran)
-
Bolted joints analyses applying standards e.g. as per VDI, ECSS
-
Mastering of global FEM & detailed FEM
-
Test prediction, surveillance, evaluation and correlation (e.g. vibration tests, acoustic tests)
-
Production support (non-conformance treatment)
-
Fatigue & fracture analyses
-
Close interaction with Mechanical Lead and Design Engineers
Qualification and Competencies
-
Master degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering or equivalent
-
A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical development and analyses of aerospace structures and components
-
Profound knowledge of FEM Software (e.g. Hyperworks and Nastran)
-
Experience in hand calculations for plausibility and pre-dimensioning
-
Good knowledge of mechanical testing

Experience with metallic and composite materials
-
Team player and high level of communication skills
-
Fluent in English, in addition German is an asset
