This is a fantastic opportunity to join Airbus Defence & Space in Portsmouth, the home of Satellite Payloads and Satellite Communication in the UK. The successful candidate will support the Asset & Material Control Manager in delivering effective asset control and warehouse management from our site in Portsmouth. 

How will you contribute to the team..

  • Receive and raise Purchase Requisitions on SAP

  • Liaise with the Export Control Team to ensure all DRNs (dispatch notes) contain the relevant Export Control rating and statement

  • Ensure through visual inspections that packed items and containers are externally defect free before transportation

  • Liaise with the Import/Export Shipping team to ensure all overseas deliveries are delivered to the customer in a suitable timeframe and cost

About you...

  • You will ideally have an awareness of compliance & export control, and risks associated

  • Come from logistics background

  • Have an enthusiasm to learn new skills and processes

Please note: this role will initially be on an Airbus Defence & Space contract but will transfer over to Babcock International effective from 1 March 2024. More information will be provided to you during the screening process.
