CTC GmbH Stade
The CTC, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus, is Germany's leading center for Research and Development in the field of design and manufacturing of large and complex CFRP components; with international perception as an expert for specification, ramp-up and series support. The ultimate goal of the CTC's work is the development of series technologies for manufacturing and assembly of fiber composite components in aircraft construction.
Variety of topics
We offer a wide variety of topics in the world of fiber composites. In addition to topics such as manufacturing process chain definition, taking into account economic and ecological framework conditions, their simulation and validation using manufacturing tests for production processes in fiber composite component manufacturing for aircraft structural components, as well as their tooling and assembly concepts. The focus is also on topics such as Industry 4.0, automation technology, the management of data obtained from the manufacturing processes and additive manufacturing.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Taking on manufacturing orders and documentation of lab trials
-
Coordination tasks between internal and external departments
-
General support of development work in the area of additive manufacturing (planning; control; documentation)
Required knowledge and qualifications
-
Enrolled full-time student (d/m/w) in the field of mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study.

Initial practical experience in the area of design with Catia and in the use of FFF- 3D printers.

Initial practical experience in processing high-performance thermoplastics is desirable.

Initial experience in Airbus processes is desirable.

Business fluent knowledge of English
