Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is actively looking for a skilled Mid-Level Manufacturing Operations Analyst - Work Place Coach with expertise in structures. This exciting opportunity is based in Berkeley, Missouri, within our dynamic team at the Skills Enhancement Center!

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.  

  • Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results.  

  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.  

  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.  

  • Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.  

Shift Work:  

This position is for variable shift.

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements: 

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience): 

  • 5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

  • 5+ years of experience with assembly and structures manufacturing.

  • 5+ years of experience with sheet metal assemblies, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation.

  • 5+ years of experience removing, replacing, repairing, or upgrading components in equipment and/or systems.

  • 3+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience coaching in a manufacturing environment.

  • 5+ years of experience with understanding, interpreting, and delivering specific process driven instruction based on feedback from Manufacturing Operations and Quality.

  • 3+ years of experience working with aerospace materials and structures used on commercial and/or military aircraft.

  • 1+ years of experience working in a fast paced, collaborative team environment.

  • 5+ years of experience reading engineering blueprints/drawings.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation: 

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.   

Travel: 

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $ 79,050 - $106,950
