Software Architect/Senior Engineer:

Your Role
Work with SDV Advanced Engineering and Perception and Compute experts at the Product Development level to identify the Core FuSa Software Technical Solutions needs this can be from the following
- Develop a SW strategy for the Platform
- To extract/review/approve FuSa requirements assigned to the SW from Product TSC, SOTIF, etc
- To capture the FuSa SW requirements for production, operation and maintenance
- To perform the independence safety analysis for ASIL Decomposition
- To perform the FFI (Freedom from Interference) Safety Analysis at architecture level
- Develop the detailed failure management logic supporting the cascaded SW safety requirements
- Develop Safety Manual for SW Only products
- Lead 3rd party SW qualification within APTIV and 3rd party
- Provide FuSa input to SW Releases documentation
Lead the development of a Software Core FuSa Technical Solution to include (but not limited to) the following Work Products:
- Safety Manual
- SW Component Qualification Report
- SW DFA (Along with all competencies)
SW FTA (Along with all competencies)
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, computer or related field of study)
- 8+ years of experience in the embedded software industry
- Experience with formal UML architectural design tools such as Enterprise Architect
- Good knowledge in field or software engineering and embedded systems architecture (HW/SW)
- Experience with Operating Systems/RTOS (Linux, QNX / OSEK) or applicable for automotive systems
- Knowledgeable in automotive product development life cycle
- Knowledgeable in requirements management tools
- Demonstrated ability to forge productive relationships, achieve cooperation, and influence priorities
- Strong oral/written communication skills and ability to lead group projects and management reviews.
- Highly desirable to have competency in automotive active and passive safety systems.
- Must be pro-active and not one who waits on what to be told to do.
