Position overview

The Manager, Dealer Digital Business serves in three pivotal roles for the organization: Lead Management, Digital Retail/System Integrations, and managing the National Dealer Digital Business Consultant team. The manager is responsible for the successful implementation and management of system and data integration between Porsche’s proprietary systems and third-party systems used by the dealer network. In this capacity, they provide data analysis and intelligence to various internal departments. Additionally, he or she oversee the dealer digital business consulting program, ensuring that dealers remain continuously engaged and successful with their digital ecosystem.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

Lead Management

  • Oversee and manage CRM Integration via ELMS to ensure PCNA's access to dealer CRM data.
  • Enhance the lead routing architecture to ensure state-of-the-art lead management and data transparency.
  • Monitor technical system operations and promptly fix any routing issues.
  • Maintain and provide relevant reports via Porsche Passion Report to measure and report on dealer bonus performance data.
  • Monitor dealer performance and provide feedback to ensure optimal customer experience related to CRM and Lead Management.
  • Provide business intelligence based on lead data analysis to various internal stakeholders to drive business decisions.
  • Assist dealers with the adoption and utilization of industry data mining software, including PCNA's Opportunity Management tool.

 

Digital Retail/ System Integrations

  • Regularly evaluate and catalog all third-party dealer systems to comprehensively map the current dealer digital ecosystem.
  • Design and architect an optimal dealer system landscape for seamless integration with Porsche systems such as C@P and PVMS with dealer systems like DMS and CRM.
  • Oversee API integration projects to facilitate third-party access to Porsche systems.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions across all platforms.
  • Provide support to dealers on digital retail integration issues to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Develop and manage funding models to support future integrations.

 

National Dealer Digital Business Consultant team

  • Lead and manage the National Dealer Digital Business Consultant team, ensuring dealers are continuously engaged and successful within the digital ecosystem.
  • Provide best-practice training on online merchandising, digital retailing tools, and lead management processes to dealership teams.
  • Conduct website content audits and website analytics analysis, offering actionable insights to enhance user experience and optimize call-to-action messaging.
  • Assist dealers with the adoption and optimization of various digital tools, including online service scheduling, chat and texting tools, inventory management, and data mining software.
  • Conduct regular eMystery Shopping and analyze dealership lead follow-up performance, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support dealers in optimizing their social media presence and online reputation, offering coaching on profile optimization, content strategies, and review management.
  • Ensure proper data entry and user management across all digital systems, maintaining clean and actionable data for CRM and other platforms.
  • Assist Porsche Dealers as appropriate to meet and exceed performance goals (e.g. Premier Dealer, Quarterly Performance Bonus, etc.) as it relates to digital topics.
  • Provide support to the AVP and regional team (RM and RASM), ensuring alignment with Marketing, AfterSales, and Customer Experience in all matters related to the Porsche Digital Ecosystem.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, MIS or other relevant field from a leading institute of higher learning is required.
  • A Master’s Degree is preferred

 

Experience:

 

  • 8 or more years’ experience in the automotive industry or consulting in a leadership role are required.
  • Retail automotive experience in the luxury segment and / or experience in consulting automotive retailers in digital sales and marketing strategy is a plus.

 

Skills:

 

  • Advanced expertise in automotive retail strategies and processes, including CRM/Lead Management, Franchise Website Programs & Online Merchandising Strategy, Digital Retailing, Search Marketing, SEO, Social Media & Online Reputation, Data Mining, Analytics, Data Analysis, and emerging technologies.
  • Expertise and knowledge of agile product development
  • Possesses a distinct customer-centric approach, maintains a professional presence, and demonstrates assertiveness.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong capacity for strategic planning, development of mid to long-term visions, and successful implementation.
  • Effective prioritization skills and the capability to thrive under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial, independent work style with a strong commitment to achieving results.

Percentage of required travel: 20% (domestic and international, overnight)

 

Physical requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, move, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.  The employee must occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
