The company are a leading supplier of woodworking machinery in the UK and are going through an exciting period of growth. The company provide their staff with training directly from the manufacturer and as an established company, with over 30 years of experience, in the industry they have built strong relationships providing them with constant work and high-quality clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing both planned and reactive maintenance on woodworking machinery. The successful candidate will work alongside both customers and skilled Engineers to provide the best quality service and have the opportunity to progress to a Senior role longer term. This role will work Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5pm (plus an Early Finish on Fridays).
The ideal candidate for this role would be an individual with Maintenance experience, a background or knowledge in the woodworking industry.
The Role:
- Maintenance Engineer/ Service Engineer
- Fault Finding
- Electrical and Mechanical maintenance
- Communicating with customers and other engineers
- Site based, with occasional travel to customer sites
The Person:
- Multi-Skilled Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer/ Service Engineer or similar backgrounds
- Electrical fault-finding experience
- Mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience repairing, servicing and maintaining woodworking machines e.g. CNC Boring Machines, Airtronic Edgebanders, CNC Nesting Machines, Beam Saws
