Logistics Quality Operations Manager

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Logistics Quality and Operations Manager (f/m) to join our Quality Logistics & Transports department based in Toulouse, France. 

You will be part of the Quality team in charge of Airbus Logistics, from the receipt of products from suppliers to their distribution at the point of use. As part of the Logistics Quality team, you will be involved in monitoring logistics activities with a view to :- Ensure that Airbus rules are applied locally.- Demonstrate regulatory compliance to the Authorities.- Contribute to the integrity of products and resources.

Your challenges: 

  • Manage day-to-day relations with Airbus logistics providers to resolve quality issues and avoid supply disruptions.

  • Be part of innovative projects to optimize logistics flows (from receipt to distribution at point of use) such as digitization, automation, robotics, ... and minimize environmental impact

  • Implement processes in a collaborative approach with logistics engineering and process owners to improve, simplify and harmonize the way we work, while respecting Quality standards.

  • Request, push for improvement, approve root cause analysis of logistics providers for all major damage or losses

  • Monitor the activities of logistics providers through regular audits and visits to workshops (ad hoc assessments). As a supplier auditor, you can carry out supplier logistics audits in other countries.

Your boarding pass:

  • Experience in Aeronautics, Quality and Procurement: at least 3 to 5 years.

  • In-depth knowledge of quality certification systems such as EN9100 and EASA Part 21-G.

  • Experience in auditing and Lean Management would be a plus

  • SAP skills with experience/knowledge of warehouse management and quality management modules (MM, EWM, QM)

  • Good knowledge of Quality tools (PPS, 8D, 9S, PDCA...).

  • Ability to work in a demanding, multifunctional and multinational (internal/external) environment.

  • Team spirit and ability to work with people from different functions and countries

  • Good communication skills (written, spoken)

  • Ability to negotiate and find a win-win solution

  • Ability to prepare and deliver clear messages to diverse audiences

  • Language skills: French, English

Salary range:

Salary range based on the required profile: 45 to 55K€/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
