Legal Specialist

The Legal Specialist supports the legal department, organization, and outside counsel in the flow of documents and information.  

The Legal Specialist reports to the Legal Supervisor.

Location: Medford, OR (On-site)

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist with Discovery requests for litigated/mediated/arbitrated matters
  • Work directly with outside counsel under the supervision of the Legal Supervisor and Corporate Counsel
  • Assist stores in responding to Small Claims filings
  • Work with stores to respond to document subpoenas
  • Assist Customer Cares
  • Track all mediations, court hearings and arbitrations
  • Assist in organizing and managing files
  • Provide administrative support for the Legal Team
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Must possess strong time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree
  • 3 or more years of experience in a legal environment or equivalent professional setting
