 WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The Power Architecture team designs and delivers low voltage (LV) and hazardous voltage (HV) power systems for JLR vehicles. We have responsibility for LV and HV power systems on all JLR powertrain variants, from conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) to mild-hybrid (MHEV), plug-in-hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric vehicles (BEV). Power Architecture is a rapid growth area and is a key enabler for Electrification and ADAS.

 

You'll be responsible for the design, verification and validation of LV Power Systems on JLR vehicles. You’ll be part of a team that will design and develop new LV power system architecture, whilst executing power system Design Validation plans as well as identifying Power system issue resolution. You will also lead the creation and documentation of power system requirements, test cases and test procedures.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Design and development of new LV power system architectures
  • Development and execution of power system Design Validation (DV) plans
  • Creation and documentation of power system requirements, test cases and test procedures
  • Power system issue resolution
  • Ensuring compliance with Regulations and Standards (internal and external)

 

 WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Technical knowledge and experience of LV and/or HV power system design and/or validation
  • Experience of system-level and component-level issue resolution
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts, data and conclusions within the team and to stakeholders
