Organizational information:

  • This position reports to the Head of IM SATAIR Spares USA inc.

  • The role supports the  applications for Satair for the North America region including the ones listed above.

  • Applications under Airbus Americas Helicopters, USA in Grand Prairie, Texas and the Airbus Canada Limited Partnership locations like  Mirabel Canada, are also in scope.

Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success:

  • The position will be based out of Bangalore, Airbus India office.

  • Supports the warehouse initiatives to identify and resolve any issues in SAP along with integration of Autostore and Pitney Bowes applications.

  • Contribute to the team tasks in delivering projects across the enterprise by taking an active part in configuration, master data migration or coordination with preferred vendor teams.

  • Satisfy company goals and objectives as defined by the team in a timely manner by contributing to the individual goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with team members to understand the business needs and deploy solutions by reviewing within the IM team applying methodologies adopted with the required documentation and testing approvals.

  • Update the IM management team on the status of initiatives in a timely manner and financial risks due to delays to committed project timelines.

  • Up to 50 major products/applications to deploy, maintain and support for a population of more than 1200 employees across Airbus in North America: Airbus Americas, Inc. , SATAIR USA, Inc., SATAIR EU and in various sites: Herndon, Dulles, Miami, Atlanta, Copenhagen, Hamburg and Singapore.

 

Required skills

Your Boarding Pass:

  • 3-5 years of experience in SAP SD, MM with warehouse Management

  • Support SAP sales and distribution activities for the business domain for North America.

  • Troubleshoot and provide onsite support for the warehouse team for inbound, quality and outbound activities.

  • Coordinate with the SAP support teams in Europe for any functionality enhancement deployments, unit testing and data migration for the region.

  • Expertise in Supply Chain and Warehouse Management is appreciated.

  • Willingness to occasionally work outside of usual working hours.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple partners.

  • Excellent and adaptive communication with diverse audiences & skills

  • Active listening skills

Good to Have

  • Logistics experience related to sales and distribution and warehouse processes.

  • Process knowledge in warehouse management, shipping, sales and distribution processes.

  • Integration knowledge in quality related processes for the logistics activities.

  • Knowledge in sales related financial processes like invoicing, accounts payable and customer master data.

  • Experience in master data migration using BDC and LSMW tools and skills demonstrated in writing queries for the functional modules that are supported.

Tasks & accountabilities:

Your main responsibilities on this position are:

  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with agreed customer requirements, ensuring the services continue to meet or exceed expectations

  • Monitor and track the performance (availability, response time, incident resolution etc.) against the Service Level Agreement

  • Perform ITIL based support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management. 

  • Support the L2 & L3 levels by analyzing Bugs and proposing functional or technical solutions

  • Challenge the L3 solution proposed by the suppliers in case of incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management. 

  • Support the Material Logistics “Application Services” process. Ability to learn and support Autostore integration with SAP and shipping application Pitney Bowes based on knowledge transfer and training provided by the Satair NA IT support.

  • Analyze console messages, diagnose system failures and take corrective action in order to ensure continuity of operations, escalating to other technical teams and vendors if needed

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
