What You'll Do
As part of Volvo Car UK’s PR & Communications team, you will execute a premium internal communications strategy for employees and retailers. Reporting to the Head of UK Communications, you will develop a robust and creative framework to inform, influence, and inspire. Key responsibilities include drafting and editing communications, planning internal events, and promoting employee engagement and company culture.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Strategy & Content: Implement a seamless communication strategy across platforms, ensuring employees stay informed. Write engaging content to deliver key messages.
Production & Editing: Use Microsoft platforms for live streams, operate filming/recording equipment, edit video content, and advise presenters on brand standards.
Event & Engagement: Plan and execute internal events (in-person/online). Collaborate with HR on engagement, retention, and talent development. Develop communication guidelines reinforcing company culture.
Stakeholder & Retailer Communications: Align internal communication with business objectives and global teams. Assess and improve retailer communication channels.
Continuous Improvement & Budget: Monitor communication effectiveness, evaluate post-event impact, and recommend improvements. Oversee and track the internal communications budget.
Skills and Experience
Passion for internal communications and impactful campaigns.
Creativity and a drive for continuous improvement.
Strong writing and event management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft communication platforms.
Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
Teamwork, collaboration, and strong interpersonal skills.
Results-driven with excellent organisational skills.
Ability to travel and stay overnight if required.
Budget management experience.
Desirable (Nice to Have)
Experience in a communications team environment.
Experience working within a global brand.
