Valeo Service, Valeo's aftermarket activity, sells a wide range of products and top quality services (catalogues, marketing tools, training and diagnostic tools) to car dealerships, spare parts distributors and independent garages in more than 100 countries around the world. Valeo Service, comprises two Branches: a team dedicated to the Independent Aftermarket (distributors, garages, auto-centres), and another to the Original Equipment Spares network.

We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager in Czech Republic and Slovakia to join the Eastern Europe team responsible for the automotive spare parts distribution (Independent aftermarket) in the region.

As a Key Account Manager you will be joining our highly competent international sales team and your main mission will be to develop Valeo business with dedicated accounts in the determined geographical zone in line with company strategy and with the main objective of reaching the budget in terms of sales and margin. You will build strong relationships with customers and ensure definition and implementation of the distribution and commercial strategy for your area. You will develop your skills by gaining multi-product, multi-channel and multi-territory sales experience!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Ensure achievement of sales budget and margin targets and execute the corresponding control measures, ensure sales growth with designated customers for specific channels in your area - Czech Republic and Slovakia.

  • Drive development plans together with customers, through a planning process that identifies relevant customer needs, prioritizes initiatives and establishes a clear action plan for success.

  • Proactively manage customers’ expectations, anticipating potential service improvements and monitoring satisfaction.

  • Identify strategic value-added growth opportunities with our distributors, focusing on new product lines and optimizing sales channels.

  • Support customers to ‘sell more’ with customized and specific selling out actions, campaigns, quantity offers etc., to maintain and improve re-ordering and stock levels.

  • Service key customers through regular face-to-face meetings and diligent follow-up.

  • Work closely with stakeholders from various internal departments in order to optimize the relationship with various services of the customer while bringing a service of quality.

  • Act as an ambassador for Valeo portraying a professional image at all times.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Min. 3-5 years of experience in sales managing business with key accounts (B2B) in the automotive Czech Rep. & Slovakia market, preferably in an international context.

  • Knowledge of Czech Rep. and Slovakia automotive aftermarket reality and competitors, strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

  • Degree in business / commerce / marketing or related field.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers.

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Very good analytical and logical thinking skills.

  • Fluent Czech is a must, good command of English.

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive, target oriented & sales driven attitude.

  • Willingness to take frequent business trips.
