HO Operational Planning Europe (ASOOLE)
Are you an experienced leader and would like to work with Supply Chain Management in the aerospace industry?
We are offering a unique opportunity to join a truly international team within a market leading company.
The successful candidate will report to the HO Supply Chain Planning, leading the Operational Planning team in Copenhagen with 17 people. Together with your peers in Germany (Hamburg), USA (Herndon & Peachtree City), Singapore and China (Beijing), you will be responsible for managing approx. $2B of inventory covering all Satair’s aftermarket products and services, to deliver our sales and customer support plan.
What is the job?

Provide leadership to a team of 14 Supply Chain Analysts, 3 Product Leads and 2 student workers

Deliver on-time material availability towards our customers by acting within the company E2E Forecast-to-Inventory (F2I) process: Translating our company sales and support plan into an inventory strategy, arbitrating the plan against company objectives, and releasing the plan for execution by the downstream Supply Chain (Supply Management, Warehousing and Logistics)

Act as a partner to Product Management and ensure ownership and execution of the inventory strategy for our core OEM Distribution Product lines

Act as a partner to the Commercial Pipeline and OEM Business Development processes to support building profitable services and new distribution business relationships

Take an active role in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) structures to arbitrate the inventory plan with the Satair executive leadership team (COO, CFO, Head of Product Management)

Steer company performance via a process-driven governance, acting as a key contributor to the F2I KPIs, including: Inventory Budget Adherence, Inventory Turn Rate, Stocking Policy Adherence, Demand Forecast Accuracy and more
Business travel is expected and could be up to 30 days per year.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Experienced leader, ideally within a Supply Chain environment

Experience in Forecasting is considered a plus.

Strong business and financial acumen

Ability to build a trustful and inclusive environment that promotes collaboration both within the team and beyond functions

Very good communication, negotiation and arbitration skills to all levels of the organization

Can-Do Attitude, with a strong sense of ownership

Business fluent English
