Job Description:
In this role of Head of L&D and Culture Change the Job holder will report to Regional Director – HR for Airbus India and South Asia.
Role:
Job holder’s missions will be:
- Responsible for establishing and running the operations of Airbus Leadership University in India.
- Ensuring the availability of Leadership University programs in India
- Curate and Design the specific Developmental program availability at different levels,
- Provide the development solutions for current and future business needs,
- Support HRBPs with the evaluation of their people development needs and suggest the right development programs.
- Support the identification and development of talents for various cohorts.
- Support the identification, development and organizing the assessments for the BVB and BIV for all functions at Airbus India.
- Ensure the People tempo support from Development CoC
- Ensure the Culture Change aligned to Airbus way
- Ensure the technical training for Employees and Subcontractors of Airbus as a revenue generation for Airbus.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
The accountability of the jobholder in this role is to:
- Finding the right development tool for each development need of each function (not limited to online tools).
- Ensure the training administration (scheduling, attendance, feedback etc.) for each training program through the team.
- Develop the local eco-system of LU approved trainers and development of new partners to develop employees.
- Collaborate with other enabling functions like procurement, finance in order to ensure smooth functioning of onboarding and payments of all the training vendors used.
- Liaise with Business leaders and Sr. HRBPs to assess the business need and propose the development solutions for current and future.
- Implement strong Change management process for the HRBPs
- Development and Cultural assimilation of new employees / managers
- Management of training admin team and training budget
- Controlling the training cost allocation for each function
Required skills
With a degree in Human Resource Management / Business, candidate should have developed a significant experience in different HR functions preferably in an international environment with transnational projects specifically in Learning and Development.
To succeed in this position, you also must have the following knowledge and skills:
- Good knowledge of the HR processes/philosophy
- Knowledge of Leadership University offerings.
- Learning and Development CoC
- A highly pro-active mindset, the ability to anticipate and address business issues and offer solutions to HRBPs and Leaders
- Excellent communication and conflict management skills, teamwork and networking abilities in a transnational environment
- Ability to challenge and push back in an appropriate manner, and to influence senior management
- 10+ years of relevant experience
