Finance and Administration Specialist (d/f/m)

Job Description:

As the Finance and Administration Specialist (m/f/d) for Aerostack GmbH, based in Taufkirchen, Munich, you will have the chance to work with a highly motivated team working in an exciting and fast-paced environment
The job holder reports operationally and functionally to the Head of Finance & Administration
Key responsibility is to contribute to the on time, on quality delivery of the Financial and Administrative support for the entity. This is a key position, deputizing for the Head of Finance and driving the administrative functions of the business.

Main Tasks and Accountabilities:

  • Managing the individual Departments’ budgets and performing cost controlling for the entity

  • Analysis of financial results and cash flow to improve business efficiency and financial performance

  • Support the evolution of cost pricing models

  • Lead key topics for the Procurement of the entity and ensure a robust approach to supplier management and order processes

  • Timely preparation and upload of bookkeeping files and entity specific financial documents towards external Accountants, External Providers etc.

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders (Internal and external stakeholders, Auditors, Authorities, …)

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Internal controls - ensure all processes are consistent with Airbus internal control guidelines as well as statutory and local regulations

  • Drive continuous evolution of the team through adaptation of resources with HR, including training and development initiatives 

  • Challenge the ways of working to retain flexibility and agility whilst delivering against the company targets. Develop further the company KPI’s 

  • Support in the preparation of Shareholder meetings and  subsequent financial analysis, managing sensitive topics as required 

  • Enable transparent financial reporting of Funded Projects and support external audit by Authorities and Auditors 

  • Lead by example in the management of data and data control, supporting the IT function in delivering a secure environment for the team in line with regulatory and Airbus guidelines

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role, suitable applicable qualification (Masters, MBA, Finance qualification)

  • Solid experience in Financial Controlling, Cash Management and Audit 

  • Can demonstrate experience in legal entity administration, team management, etc.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Interested to work in an energetic, multi-functional and multinational team

  • Customer oriented mind-set, adaptive and thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Language skills: German fluency is essential, English business fluent
