Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office four times per week or other frequency dictated by the business and once a week remote.
Your Role
Developing and operating export operations for GM Egypt is a critical enabler for GM Egypt’s Future Growth plans. This Role will establish processes and implement systems to enable exporting to GM Countries in Africa and middle east to ensure processes are consistent with GM Global market requirements. Also, this role will run the export operations to ensure GM Egypt cross functions appropriately support the export requirements and readiness.
What You'll Do
- Lead CKD Programs Export execution timing workshops and readiness plans Cross functionally including (Home room, Export region, Portfolio planning, GMOD, DF young, GM IT Systems, Sales, Marketing, Quality, CCA and Legal) based on each country readiness (COS readiness) including Governmental requirements readiness.
- Responsible for ensuring that all business deliverables are identified and accounted for in the Export Programs project plan with responsibility and due dates cross functionally.
- Continuously monitor and report on Export program execution status.
- Manage and Lead Export PET and lead regular Markets product PET meetings
- Manage the different markets product changes requirements and align with Product Planning
- Work closely with Product planning in releasing Change request (CR) for product specifications required by market.
- Manage and Align with CKD Program manager for Local operations and product specs assessment to fulfil other markets requirements.
- Manage the identification, documentation, and traceability of business requirements based on each program and Country of Sales (COS) and execution status
- Developing tracking scorecards and metrics to illustrate status and ownership.
- Developing milestone reviews for the key milestones and ensures the team is on track to deliver for each Export program.
- Lead development and approval of Export Program Charter and required alignments for different programs in each country cross-functionally
- Track business resources and identify any shortages based on project plans
- Assist Workstream Leaders in managing multiple efforts simultaneously across a broad range of functions, business and organizational units.
- Monitor project progress and consolidate status reports.
- Gain an understanding of program workstreams/projects to be able to assist in identification of issues and risks.
- Compile and communicate cross-functional program status
- Coordinate the input and approval of various project design and decision documents.
- Provide guidance and support during execution of change management activities.
- Align cross-functional business and technical teams to help ensure alignment of goals and to help resolve conflicting priorities.
- Prepare presentations for various levels of leadership.

Your Skills and Abilities
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of automotive experience
- Program/Project management Skills or Experience
- Working level knowledge / experience in GVDP/GPDP and product launches
- High level of independent judgment and analytical ability to solve unique problems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
- Effective at dealing with ambiguity and change
- Ability to maintain effectiveness in fast-paced, changing environment
- Fast Learning and adaptability in ambiguous environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- People Leader experience
- Experience in one or more functional areas: Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Product Engineering, Supply Chain
- Product, customer and market knowledge
- Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area
- Advanced degree in Business or Engineering
