Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Experienced Structure Stress In-Service Engineer - A220 Program (m/f) to join our team based in Toulouse, France.
The In-Service structure Engineering department is in charge of providing efficient repair solutions to A220 customers.
We are working in partnership with the in-service engineering team in Mirabel (Canada) to always provide the better support to our customers.

Your challenges:

Analyzing damage reports and providing stress justifications of repair instructions enabling quick return to service of the aircraft (passengers may be waiting on board)

Performing static strength, durability and damage tolerance analyses for specific or generic structural metallic repairs in support to the A220 fleet;

Interacting with a multidisciplinary team in the development of structural repair solutions;

Analyze recurring cases and develop generic solutions to provide more autonomy to our internal/external customers

Ensuring safety and airworthiness of aircraft structure by reporting any unsafe condition

Supporting the completion of various A220 aircraft structural manuals such as Aircraft Structural Repair Publication (ASRP) and
Aircraft Maintenance Publication (AMP);
Your boarding pass:

You have a Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a relevant experience of minimum of five (5) years in stress analysis in the aerospace industry;

You have a good knowledge in aircraft metallic structure stress analysis (practical experience on A220 structures is an asset);

You master damage tolerance analysis (experience with NASGRO is an asset);

Ability to read aircraft structure repair drawings (Catia V5 is an asset);

You have a good understanding of applicable airworthiness regulations (experience with Transport Canada is an asset);

You have a negotiation level in English (French is an asset);

Your are a self-starter, team player, well organized and customer oriented

Salary range:
Salary range based on the required profile: 45 to 55 K€/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
