Position Responsibilities:
- Participates in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
- Design, develop, and deploy modular data pipelines
- Develop and maintain cloud software and solutions in accordance with best practices
- Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements
- Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs
Requirements and skills
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, building pipelines
- 3+ Experience with version control, Gitlab, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- 3+ Experience with Spark, Kafka, and other big data processing frameworks.
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica, or AWS Glue.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration
- Technical Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with AWS GovCloud
- 1+ years of Agile and/or SAFe Agile
- Experience with micro-services architecture and familiarity with multi-cloud architectures
- Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies
- Experience in the aviation industry or other regulated industries
- Experience of working within a multinational matrix management environment / structure and a large-scale, sophisticated international organization
This position will require occasional travel within India and internationally

Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 8 or more years related work experience along with team management or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) Preferred, but not required.
