Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Eurofighter Weapon System Architect (d/f/m)

The Eurofighter Weapon System Architect will be a member of the Eurofighter Chief Engineer Office Germany and will work in close cooperation with the Eurofighter Technical Manager Future Business and the Engineering CoC Integration Managers.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • National and quatro-national customer requirement capture
  • Technical definition of future Eurofighter capabilities in line with customer requirements
  • Management and co-ordination of pre-contract Engineering activities across the Engineering Centers of Competence (CoCs)
  • Management and co-ordination of Engineering System Definition activities
  • Participation in customer and industry pre-contract and Progress Meetings

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Master degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • More than 10 years of experience in the aerospace & defense sector
  • More than 10 years of experience in aircraft and weapon system design
  • Profound experience in weapon system architecture and design
  • Knowledge of the Eurofighter Weapon System or equivalent Analytical skills
  • Team player and result-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working in international and cross-functional teams
  • English and German: negotiation level

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
