Job Description:
A vacancy for a Weapon System Design Responsible (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane.
Within Airbus Helicopters System Division, you will join the “Weapon and Electronic Warfare System” department.
You will be involved in the design and integration of the weapon systems for military helicopters.

Your challenges
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Contribution to weapon system architecture set up, in accordance with customer requests (internal or external) and transverse requirements provided by overall system architects,
- Detailed functional specification writing, in particular high level requirement (using doors), functional and interfaces specification, using dedicated tools,
- Problem report management and corrective actions (specification update, interface update, software modifications,...),
- Support to software tests and integration tests,
- Redaction of ground/flight test orders the verify the compliance to requirement specifications,
- Support to qualification/certification activities.
- Support to firing campaigns.
Your profile:
You will have the following skills and experience:

Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering

At least 3 years of experience in system engineering

Experience in the weapons systems

Knowledge in bus protocols (Milbus 1553B, Arinc 429, etc)

Service-mindedness, problem-solving mindset, autonomous, team spirit

English , French : Advanced level
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
