Job Description:
Within Airbus Helicopters Engineering Division, a Rotors Systems engineer job is vacant. You will join the 'Rotors Systems & FCU department and you will work in the Rotors Systems design team.
You will join the team located in Paris le Bourget site which is THE Center of Excellence for Airbus Helicopters composite parts used on dynamic systems.
All activities listed below are mainly focus on Rotor System composite components (Main & Tail Blades, Main rotor Hubs, Sleeves, Suspensions bars, torque tubes...) installed on Conventionnal Helicopters, Urban Air Mobility aircrafts, Drone and Propellers.

Your challenges
Your main activities will be the following:
1) To Design
Ensure the best architectures selection regarding the helicopters specification and general engineering output. Design the future Rotors Systems from the elementary part to the assembled system and from the 3D models to the detailed drawings taking into account functional, kinematics, mechanical strength and industrial constraints. Ensure the quality and conformity of Rotors System deliverables and activities during the whole product development and in service life (studies, feasibility, pre-development, development, initial production, entry into service, maturity)
2) To Tests
Ensure the quality and the relevance of the Rotors System test associated activities
3) Follow up and support
Performing the required project management activities (including the monitoring of the dedicated relevant OTD, OTC and OTQ KPIs)
4) Certify
Ensure the delivery and quality of the certification documents (technical description, FMECA, DDP, test conclusions, maintenance documents related to design activities and to be approve by the Authority
5) In service manage the major incident analyses
Propose severity classification for each technical events, propose and deploy protective measure for customer’s safety when necessary. Finally propose design changes in order to solve issues raised during production or in service.
5) Manufacturing Support & Repairs activities
Manage manufacturing non conformity, propose design improvment for industrial robustness, propose, deploy and certify repairs for manufacturing (Part21) and/or customers (Part145).
You will be in regular interactions with many departments of the company such as projects/programs, airworthiness, customers support, test (ground and flight), production centers, materials laboratories, assembly centers and work preparation or manufacturing engineering. You will be in permanent interactions with rotors and suspensions stress and industrialization teams
Your Profile
You will have the following skills and experience:
· Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in Material or Mechanical Engineering.
· Mechanical Engineering
· Designer Engineering in aeronautic
· Designer or work preparation for composite parts
· Mechanics
· Composite & Metallic material
· CATIA user for composite
· Aeronautical skills
· Agile, Dynamic, team work, motivated
· Rigourus, autonomous, self-organized
· Language Skills: advanced level of English and french is mandatory; Intermediate of German will be appreciate.
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
