#ET11R Failure Management Engineer (d/f/m)
The Failure Treatment Team belongs to the Maintenance design department (part of Airbus Helicopters Design Office) and is accountable for the development of failure data production, recording, diagnostic, troubleshooting procedure production and all means supporting the end users in the execution of the corrective maintenance of the Airbus Helicopters.
The main activities within the department are to define the Failure Treatment concept allowing to fulfill expressed need, to specify and challenge avionic equipment testability design features with the supplier and to specify the list of data to be recorded on aircraft allowing to support ground failure data computation then to test and validate developed in boarded recording software. The team as well takes the tasks to produce the configuration files allowing to provide the failure localization information, to produce the troubleshooting models for dynamic production of troubleshooting procedures and to develop the ground software allowing to provide the diagnostic and the troubleshooting procedures to end users.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.
Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
-
Supporting tests on aircraft or on bench in order to validate the inboarded recorded software
-
Supporting all System function Reviews for different helicopter models
-
Defining with each System Design Responsible (d/f/m) the list of data of each in boarded system relevant for ground failure treatment

Defining filtering and diagnostic rules to be applied on recorded data's for failure localization
-
Supporting trouble shooting model production and validation for current aircraft

Performing work package management and technical coordination of sub projects

Ensuring a robust and transparent reporting of Failure treatment function development progress and status

Contributing to metier capitalization through Htech
Desired skills and qualifications
-
Completed studies (Master/Diploma) in the field of electrical engineering or comparable course of studies

Good knowledge of aeronautical electrical and avionics systems, definition of procedures for troubleshooting, evaluation of diagnostic algorithms and project management

Language skills: English business fluent, German and French desirable

Willingness for business trips within and outside Germany
