Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is looking for an Estimating and Pricing Manager based out of Renton, Everett, or Tukwila, Washington.

This role provides leadership and support related to Estimating & Pricing Data, Tools, and Methods. The primary focus will be supporting Boeing Commercial Aircraft estimating efforts. Additional support relates to common tools and processes for the Estimating Center of Excellence (COE) within Finance Shared Services.

Key areas to support include: Rates & Factors, website maintenance, compliance governance, training development/coordination, and development of tools and models to drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and organizational excellence.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures
  • Grows and develops the skills and capabilities within the organization by overseeing the training and development strategy
  • Provides oversight and coordination of the Commercial Estimating & Pricing Skill Team
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Material Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
  • Experience with budgeting and estimating
  • Experience leading projects or teams 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Familiarity with government and/or commercial estimating
  • Ability to work autonomously across a broad statement of work
  • Experience working internationally or on international teams

Summary pay range: $133,450 – $180,550
