Job Description:

A.   Accountabilities

Provide guidance, road maps, principles, standards and best practices in order to reach the optimum balance between overall D&IM landscape optimisation and project objective.

Ensure the minimum cost of ownership and maximum sustainability of D&IM landscape.

We are looking for a detail-oriented enterprise architect to assist in the operations of our organization. The enterprise architect’s responsibilities include improving the current Infrastructure and System architecture, optimizing business operations, and setting the direction on new business initiatives. The enterprise architect is also responsible for cataloging, developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining and enforcing overall enterprise architecture models to adequately perform D&IM China strategies.

B.   Main activities

Developmental activities

  • Leads, challenges and coordinates discussions with stakeholders relative to architecture.
  • Work with the D&IM leadership team to find the right Enterprise Architecture organizational design to drive business outcomes.
  • Working closely with DGS (Enterprise Architecture & Standards) to update and maintain the architecture standards and portfolios in China.
  • Acts as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future projects.
  • Evaluating internal “as-is” Infrastructure and System Architecture, discovering the discrepancies and vulnerabilities, then suggesting improvements.
  • Creating architecture models (assessment, process, templates, etc.) to reflect the organization's strategies and objectives.
  • Suggesting ideas to reduce costs on both recurrent and non-recurrent perspectives.
  • Promoting architecture guidance, roadmaps, principles, standards and best practices. Plus organizing training to improve employees' knowledge and skills for future organizational growth.

  • The jobholder will access and guide the overall architectural decisions to drive the technology transformation and modernization across D&IM China team. The outputs expected from are Architecture assessment process and templates, Technology Strategy Guidance, Future Airbus in China Architectures & Strategics and Technology Portfolio Rationalization, etc.

D.   Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in an international context - advanced level of English.
  • Knowledge and experience of system integration technologies (API, ESB…) and infrastructure components (Cloud, Network, Hosting, IAM…) is a must.
  • Competencies on complex architecture design (from business processes to technical architecture).
  • Knowledge on standard frameworks and repositories for enterprise architecture: TOGAF. ServiceNow, Archimate, Alfabet…
  • Excellent technical, analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good leadership and motivational skills.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies and frameworks.
