Embedded Software Architect m/f

Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Software Architect/Integrator (f/m) to join our Embedded Software Department based in Marignane, France.

You will join a team developing new systems for an aircraft under development. As part of the team, you will be involved in developping avionics solutions and performing its integration on a new Hardware. The aim is to allow the helicopter/drone under development to reach sufficient maturity to pass the different flight test campaigns and eventually be delivered to the market.

Your challenges:

  • Refining system functional needs in software requirements

  • Participate in the design of the complete solutions architecture, ensure reliability of the software design

  • Participate in the integration of the software components on the Hardware / Real Time Operating System

  • Develop (maintainable and reusable) Software components, taking into account their performance on Hardware.

  • Perform requirement based testing of the developped software components

 

Your profile:

  • Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in computer science, electronics or related discipline.

  • 5+ years in development of embedded real time software (C, ada, …)

  • Experience integrating on RTOS (Windriver, PikeOS, ...)

  • Experience with SW development testing, (e.g. Requirement based testing, HW/SW integration on target bench, test coverage analysis, …)

  • Experience with ED-12/DO-178 certification or other industries standards (e.g.: IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ..)

  • Experience with configuration management processes and tools (e.g. svn, git, clearcase…)

  • Fluent in English

Other experience in related domains will also be appreciated. This includes:

  • Experience in scripting (eg python, shell, …)

  • Familiarity with model based development (e.g. Scade, Simulink)

  • Experience with graphical software development

  • Familiarity with continuous integration processes and tools (e.g: Jenkins)

  • Experience in simulation / modelisation

  • Experience working with agile methods (e.g. scrum)

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements
